OK, so one of the rants submitted to me today touches on an interesting subject. And I will tread very lightly into this topic because I am not trying to stir up a hornets nest. Ty Willingham is Black. And there is a disparity in the number of black D1 Football coaches. And the media likes to point this out all the time.
So is this effecting the UW decision to FIRE TY? Are they afraid of the potential backlash to the point that they are keeping a horrible coach around for another year? I Hope not...but you do have to think about it. Because that would NOT BE RIGHT, but it might be reality.
Regardless of his race, the facts are that TY Willingham is a losing coach and has done nothing to improve the UW program--in fact it is now in worse shape than ever. And losers need to be replaced with someone who can win. Firing him has nothing to do with the NAACP, ethnicity or his personality. It just has to do with the fact that he is a loser. I welcome some commentary on this one...just keep it clean please.

Clearly the University of Washington needs to exercise some financial controls. Perhaps you could be of assistance in negotiating Ty Willingham's firing.
Just because you aren't good at what you do, doesn't mean you should be fired. Maybe I should apply to coach with Ty.
